A fantastic display in the final saw Gean Sou Mo (Wales) crowned the girls singles U15 Quad Champion. Gean’s opponent Grace King (England) got off to an excellent start and winning the first game comfortably 21/10, however Gean hit back and played some superb badminton winning the next two games 21/17 21/16.
The boys singles final was an all English affair, contested by Zach Russ and Harry Huang. Another 3 set match saw Zach come out on top, prevailing over fellow countryman Harry Huang 21/23 21/15 21/6.
In the boys doubles final the Irish pair of Paul Reynolds and Kyle Magee took the title with a top class display of doubles in what turned out to be an excellent match. They overcame the Scottish number 1 pair of Christopher and Matthew Grimley winning 21/19 12/21 24/22.
Sian Kelly and Freya Patel-Redfearn (England) picked up the girls doubles title with a hard fought victory over Lily Farnood and Rachel Lu (Scotland) 23/21 21/15.
Onto the final event of the day, the mixed doubles. The tie consisted of 2 Scottish pairs Glen Lewington / Shona Whillans & Christopher Grimley / Ciara Torrance. Lewington & Whillans overpowered their Scottish compatriots winning the tie 21/8 21/11.
