21 children enjoyed Badminton Wales' first talent day at Deganwy last week. Using the new “Innate Talent Tool," the children were assessed by three coaches who put them through their paces using the 6 stations designed to measure speed, agility and other qualities. The coaches will now assess the players and invite some to a Conwy Talent Hub where it’s hoped they will start their Badminton Wales performance journey.
Development Officer Stephanie Marti-Jones said,
“The children enjoyed the talent identification day as it was something different and everyone could attend. Now the coaches are discussing who will be put forward and be selected for the Talent Hub."
